After the drive up this mountain Brooke vowed she would never go up the hills that it took to get to this waterfall, and even if her life depended on it!I hope you enjoy the pictures my princess Brooke, since you say you will never risk driving next to those cliffs again! ( It didn't help that your cousin told you that her teacher drove off the side of the road on her way to these falls and died.)

I think it was totally worth it, and I do hope you change your mind and that we can go again!

Cliffs and Colorado Cousins

Brooke and Will,
Heaven has smiled upon you as we were blessed to spend time at Aunt Audrey's house in Cortez, Colorado, a few weeks ago.

It was easy to see that you are both city kids as you screamed because you saw a spider crawling across a rock, while in Colorado.  Your Colorado cousins looked at you both with surprise and confusion.

I thought you had really warmed up to the idea of hiking next to cliffs after awhile, but then we drove next to one, and your Uncle almost took you off it, as he thought he was pushing the gas in reverse, even though he was still in drive!

Needless to say, Brooke, you left Colorado determined to NEVER go into areas with high cliffs again, and you made that very clear to us as you told us while you sat on my lap on the drive down the cliffy mountain, as I was the human car seat.

I it doesn't matter where we go, It's a gift to just be with the McNeill Family!
