Horseback Riding Camp

Thanks to Grandma Turano, Brooke had an unforgettable experience as she attended an all-day horseback riding camp for one-week, This Summer.

I had never seen Brooke so excited to wake up as she was that week! She had zero complaints about arising before the sun, and not even one complaint about wearing long jeans each day in the Texas heat!?

The only thing Brooke talked about from the time she was finished with camp each day was her assigned horse " Buttercup ". And, Buttercup was the word until bedtime!

Brooke explained as she learned about riding, that she does well at posting while the horse trots.

She enjoyed learning how to care for the horses and everything that it takes to work on a horse ranch.

The last day of camp Brooke was allowed to do up her horses hair, and show all of us parents how confident that she had become at riding a horse!

Brooke would have had fun no matter how she attended this camp, but it made it extra fun that two of Brooke's best friends Izzy and Lali attended the camp with her!!!

Uncle Allen

It was such a pleasure to have the chance to see my brother Allen last week, as he had come on a business trip to Dallas, for work.

It was a very special time to also be able to visit the temple and do work for our ancestors together with him in the house of the Lord.

Will's Sixth Birthday Party

Will's sixth birthday party was an exciting awaited day for Brooke and William this year! In-fact, this party was such an anticipation for Will and Brooke, that they planned it for three-hours straight on the drive home from Kansas City, Missouri after a visit to the Turano-side of the family.

Will was dead set on a Star Wars theme, and the gift that Brooke halfway talked him into choosing this year, was a trampoline for never-ending backyard fun!

Will wanted a pin your pick on the dark-side or good-side game.

A pinata in the front yard was a must!!!!

And lastly, Will requested his favorite custom ice-cream cake created and made one-hundred percent by Mommy!

It was a great day, that even extended to evening with Will's favorite little girl friend whom loves him - Jordyn Pousard.
