South Padre Island...A Pack Family Reunion

                                       Amy, Mom, Audrey, And Emily

The word amazing do our family reunion to South Padre Island any justice. The weather was absolutely perfect! We got the best of both worlds. High tide and low tide on separate days...
We stayed in a six bedroom beach house across the street from the beach! One of the rooms was packed with bunk beds for all the kids to stay in, and the rest were adult rooms with their own tvs in every room! There also was a balcony off every single bedroom! A pool and hot tub in the backyard was icing on the cake when you have a beach across the street, but believe me....we used it almost everyday!

My little sister, Amy, her family Andy, Sydney and Wynn  came in from Alaska. My older sister, Audrey, and her family Bryant, Isabel , Hyrum, Eli and Fawn came in from Colorado, and the Pack Grandparents in Texas and us, the Turano's had a nine hour drive ( that Daddy so kindly drove while we slept) to get to our heaven on earth. We missed my brother Allen's family a lot. If they would have come...it probably would have been too hard to leave...we all would have been stuck in South Padre ;)

Our week included each taking turns making dinner, breakfast and Grandma and Grandpa always doing lunch. Building sand castles, capturing jelly fish, fish, hermit crabs, riddler crabs, sand dollars, and horse shoe crabs, and a baby sea snake! Thankfully kevin had been preparing pickle jars for weeks, to bring before we went on our trip. We rode the waves, we saw fire works, we made our own fireworks, we went to a turtle rescue, we went to a doliphin watch, we flew kites, and every night someone gave a five min. lesson with all of us gathered at the couch...

I truly felt like this trip was a little piece of heaven on earth............I can't wait to put more pictures!
